    I bought this book after reading website after website of advice on how to photograph the aurora. This was all because I had a trip to Lapland planned with just that goal. The book was easy to digest in clear sections and helped me work out what gear would be best and how to set up my camera. When I got out into the arctic it was far easier to get up and shooting than it would otherwise have been, meaning I could take best advantage of the opportunity. This book and the cheap magnifying loupe I used to help achieve infinity focus were the most important things that helped me get some memorable images.
